Bartender

We are looking for a professional, high-energy Bartender with excellent communication skills serve classical cocktails and exciting craft beers to our guests.

The Bartender will:

• greet customers and learn about their preferences
• answer questions
• recommend menu items
• prepare and serve beverages and food
• upsell items
• create recipes
• utilize proper equipment and ingredients
• handle cleaning duties

To succeed as a Bartender, you should have a neat appearance and engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Experience:

• Bartending: 1 year (Preferred)
• server: 1 year (Preferred)

Location:

• Vernon, BC (Preferred)

Licence:

• Serving It Right (Required)

Job Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
• Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
• Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
• Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment
• Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
• Other duties as requested
