Customer Service Representative
Working in our Vernon British Columbia location, this position is ideal for those with exceptional customer service skills interested in building long-term relationships with our customers and the community in a team environment. This position will provide an opportunity for the right individual to learn the office products, office equipment and office furniture business while striving to exceed the expectations of our business to business and retail customers. This is a permanent full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Reduced hours may be accommodated on a permanent part-time basis for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:
Providing our business to business and retail customers with exceptional service and a positive experience.
Responding to customer enquiries and processing customer orders in person, on the telephone and online.
Providing advice about products and suggesting possible solutions according to their specific needs.
Operate computerized point of sale system and process multiple methods of payment transactions.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computer use, data input speed and accuracy.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to learn new technology and software.
Strong interpersonal and telephone skills.
Well organized with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
Dependable, punctual, responsible and reliable.
Previous sales and customer service experience is an asset.
Previous experience in a furniture related business, design and/or space planning is an asset.
