Today's impact of external factors on the bottom line has created strong incentives for businesses to develop within the ecological limits of the planet and the sustainable steps businesses take can have significant positive impact on the environment.

Chamber Member's voice

There is a Chamber in almost every community across Canada. Chambers support their business members by providing networking, benefit and advocacy services.

Many Chambers develop additional services for their members. Two additional initiatives the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce is doing are:

1. A Strategic Sustainability Plan to support members in learning about green business practices and;

2. Policy Development as a louder voice for business when addressing businesses' recommendations to our government.
